What Comes to Mind????

My Mother will be here next week...........

My little row of strawberries is quite full. All the rain that we have been getting has caused everything to really grow. I got my first three strawberries this morning!

The Rhubarb has already been cut once and is safely in the freezer. I may have just enough strawberries to make one pie!!!

Quite the Storm

We woke up to a beautiful sunny day this morning,

but last night was a different story....................

Thunder

Lightning

Wind

Rain

Trees falling to the ground...

It all made for a very unrestful night.

There were trees and large branches down all over camp.

Amazingly there was no damage to buildings, vehicles or people.

I am sure that this storm was just a fraction of the force that so many experienced last month, and yet I was amazed at the devastation that this one stormy night caused in our neighborhood.

We are so thankful and know that it could have been so much worse.

This tree came just a couple of feet away from smashing our truck.

It was 91 and very humid today. Summer is here!!

We need rain now and them, but we will be happy to not have

this storm repeated. We do praise God for His Hand of Protection!
